PALILA / WOULD
The songs on this EP were recorded during the same sessions as the album
at Hertzwerk with Olman. We recorded quite a lot of material during that
time and not all songs ended up on the album, so this EP became a kind of
companion to those sessions.
The album tracklist was more or less clear at some point, but there were still a few songs that we really liked and didn’t want to leave behind. Instead of trying to fit everything onto one record, it felt better to give these songs their own small release.
In the end it’s all part of the same period of the band and the same recording sessions. The album might be the main release from that time, but this EP shows another side of those sessions and completes the picture a bit.
