ABOUT THE ALBUM

This was Palila's debut album. After Manuel moved to Berlin and Jonas Czok left the band, Sascha Krüger joined as the new drummer just in time for the recordings.

Several songs had already existed as home demos before the band entered K-Klangstudio in Hamburg with Ron Henseler and Ritchy Fondermann. Early versions of New York Family Plans and Rain Again are included here as well.

The album was made possible with funding secured together with Kapitän Platte.

Around the same time, the band returned to the stage with one of its first post-lockdown shows alongside Bad Moon and Alle außer ich, before gradually returning to regular rehearsals, recordings and live shows.
